Zhao Yujiang, Senior Investment AdvisorMadam Zhao has served at the leading edge of China’s commercial and economic development throughout her career, starting as one of the first Chinese citizens to be sent abroad to garner the skills for developing the country’s economy. She worked for seven years as a member of the committee established to advise the PRC government on policies for liberalisation of the Chinese economy, and was instrumental in guiding economic policy and the transformation of the State-controlled economy into a market-oriented one. After leaving the public sector Madam Zhao led the entry of the first Western stockbrokerage firm into China and with it managed the underwriting of 21 listings of Chinese companies in nine years. As Senior Investment Manager for Mahon China, Madam Zhao has responsibility for deal flow strategy and investment structuring and negotiation. She also serves on the boards of JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust Plc. and Boshi Fund Management Co. Ltd. Zhao Yujiang is an economics graduate of Oxford University. |

Hugh Swire, PartnerMr Swire has worked in Asia for most of this decade. He started at Mahon China in Beijing as an investment manager responsible for manufacturing companies in private equity portfolios. This entailed often working and living in Chinese factories. He also managed a group of third party stressed private equity assets and advised a range of industrial clients for Mahon China¡¯s advisory team. Mr Swire managed listed equity for a Hong Kong based hedge fund (pan-Asian long/short) for Nomura in Tokyo and, afterwards, for JP Morgan in London, where he was a vice president specialising in equity derivatives. Hugh is a director of a bio-mass energy company in the British Midlands and a partner in Mahon China. Mr Swire is a graduate of Oxford University where he studied modern and classical Chinese. |

Mei Xiaorong, Investment ManagerMs Mei is the investment manager at Mahon China who has particular responsibility for deal origination. She is also Mahon China's lead in maintaining relations with government bodies around the country. Her extensive business experience and networks aid her in both these roles. Prior to joining Mahon China she had an industrial career with Fu Hua Foodstuffs, a sino-Hong Kong joint venture, and Inchcape. As part of the investment team, Ms Mei has undertaken due diligence across various sectors including logistics, textiles, infrastructure, machinery and electronic appliances. She is also responsible for domestic legal and accounting deal compliance. Ms Mei holds a diploma in business from the Overseas Chinese University, Beijing, and a postgraduate diploma in economics from Beijing's Capital University of Economics and Business. |

William Baker, Investment ManagerMr Baker has been with Mahon China since 1996 and has lived in China for over 20 years. Prior to joining Mahon China, Mr Baker worked in China's technology sector, including three years as the managing director of a company focused on broadcast media systems. At Mahon China Mr Baker has successfully managed investments in the telecoms and electronics sectors and assisted in the origination and management of a major textiles investment. Mr Baker has specialist market expertise in technology and retail. At Mahon China he is also responsible for all international fund compliance and liaison and with overseas service providers to the funds managed by Mahon China. Mr Baker holds a BA in finance from the University of Texas, and an MBA from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. |

Peter Shi Jiwu, Investment ManagerMr Shi joined Mahon China in 2006 after a career in agribusiness in both Australasia and China. He brings depth to the team's provision of corporate advisory services across the agriculture and primary products sectors. For over 10 years Mr Shi worked at the Xilingol Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science in Inner Mongolia, before pursuing advanced business education in New Zealand and a career in the private sector. This included working in various roles for both domestic and overseas companies focused on developing the dairy cattle industry in China. Mr Shi holds a BA from the Inner Mongolia Normal University of Hohhot and a Postgraduate Diploma of Business Administration from Victoria University of Wellington. |

Wu Jianbo, PartnerMr Wu joined Mahon China in 2007 with a background in finance and economics. He is currently leading Mahon China's mergers and acquisitions advisory business. Prior to Mahon China, Mr Wu worked for a local-currency private equity fund with portfolios in hotels, auto services and construction materials. He also worked for an international financial newswire. Mr Wu holds a BSc in economics from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in politics from Oxford University. |

Gloria Huang Jingjing, Investment ManagerMs Huang joined Mahon China in 2002. She is responsible for identifying and developing investment opportunities, takes the lead for the team in managing independent advisors and contractors to Mahon China and performs market research. She has also worked on regulatory compliance for a number of Mahon China's corporate advisory clients. Ms Huang holds an accountancy degree from Beijing's Lianhe University. |

Julia Zhou, Investment ManagerMs Zhou is responsible for due diligence and economic research. Born in Shanghai, Ms Zhou was educated and has lived extensively in the United States, giving her the opportunity to gain insight into both Chinese and Western cultures. She has worked on many research projects in the United States and China. Ms Zhou has a degree in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University. |

Calvin Chen, Investment ManagerMr Chen has extensive experience in investment banking. Mr Chen worked at the Asia-Pacific branch of Electricite de France (EDF) as a financial analyst, responsible for financial modelling and reporting and also due diligence on the power industry. He then joined United Venture Group, working alongside the chief risk officer from Avenue Capital Group as a financial analyst in the investment management department, in charge of due diligence, financial modelling, communication with clients, and other tasks. There, he gained a deep understanding of the mining and manufacturing industries, and also gained experience in financial leasing. Mr Chen received a MSc in economics from Tilburg University (UvT) in the Netherlands. |

XY Zhang, CFOMr Zhang joined the company in 2002 with over 18 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit and taxation both inside and outside of China. After obtaining a master's degree in accounting from the PRC Finance Ministry Institute, Mr Zhang started his financial career as audit director in the then largest pioneering Chinese CPA. He moved on to employment as a senior business consultant with a Big Six CPA firm. In the 90s, Mr. Zhang moved to industry, joining US Dow Jones Index Component Corporation as the China CFO - Director of Accounting, Tax and Finance. He contributed creative solutions to various financial, accounting and tax challenges encountered by the US blue chip company. Mr Zhang now oversees Mahon China's entire financial management process. |

Rachel Li, Investment ManagerMs Li is a manager in Mahon China's mergers and acquisitions business. She plays a major role in all aspects of the mergers and acquisition process, including identifying target companies on behalf of clients, undertaking valuations and negotiating terms. In the past Ms Li worked for both Softbank China and IBM's China Investment Fund as an investment project manager. She led deals in advertising, media, telecommunications and consumer industries. Ms Li holds a BSc in accounting and commercial law from the University of Sydney, and speaks fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and English. |
